I have eight years of experience as a teacher. I worked with all types of students, including those in special education. I also am a lacrosse coach. As a tutor, my specialties are social studies, science, English, and math for students between six and 10th grade. I prioritize patience in my sessions, and I allow students to dictate the pace. I also adjust my approach to match the needs of my student. I like to keep sessions laid-back but focused on the task at hand, and I like to present information in fun and interesting ways to keep students engaged. In my free time, I enjoy hockey, coaching lacrosse, and ecology.
